My bank (not WHICH bank!) publishes change notifications and a list of
the changes several weeks before they take effect. As long as Telstra
do this, I agree with Stil. The changes are over twelve weeks away
if the Sept date is correct.

It is unprofessional and unhelpful to the customer to publish the
list of changes to T&Cs only when or after they take effect. The very
nature of the changes my nudge me to change providers.

With what is happening at Telstra I would jump ship ASAP. It seems to be
turning away from being a service organisation (I use the term "service"
with great hesitation) to a sales organisation. Perhaps they need
to do this to survive. Myself, I avoid service providers that are
primarily sales oriented. If the front-line contact with a service
provider is technical and can assist with my service enquiries,
they've hooked me as a potential customer.
