What I though most bizarre was the PM saying that hospitals would be run like
corporations with a board and ceo who were financially accountable. This was
shortly after he said the Australian Government {He?} contributed 43% of the
money directly and more through the GST (which it appears is being withheld from
the states pending agreement to new governance model and
NSW has always missed out per head of population on Federal allocations) and
wanted some say in how they were run.

What I don't understand about the "North Shore Emergency Miscarriage in a 
Bathroom" case is
why wasn't the woman taken to the wonderful North Shore private hospital instead!
