The ABS collects the broadband statistics used by the OECD, the
latest are to March 2007:
<http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/mf/8153.0/>. There are links
with details of how the statistics are collected.
If you have any suggestions or comments for the ABS, their next
consultative meeting is 1 November. I attend on behalf of the ACS
<http://www.tomw.net.au/blog/labels/ICT%20Statistics.html>. AIIA are
also there, along with telcos and government agencies.
ps: Perhaps WiMax linked WiFi hotspots will solve all our broadband
problems?
