Welcome to the next bizarre chapter in the story of Adam Todd.
1) Get a clue
2) Get a job - scrub toilets if you have to - do what everyone else has to
do... get up every day and work for a living - no matter how bizarre you
are, I am sure you can get work doing something.
3) You should have done this before you got booted out. Did you actually
think of the effect of what would happen on your kids? Perhaps you need
another DoCS visit since your kids now live in a car.
4) PLEASE get a clue - for Your sake, your wifes sake and your kids sake.

Subject: [LINK] OT: Need accommodation for my family - URGENT
(We've been pretty much homeless and living out of our cars for a
week now. The kids are having a great time, exploring new locations
every day, getting outdoors more than they have before, but for us
adults, we're concerned about how long we can keep this up with all
the things we still have to do.)
I know this is off topic but I need to communicate with as many
people as possible as quickly as possible.
Some of you may have taken the time to read http://billtodd.inoz.com/
over the last few years and follow the legal battle started by my
father to get our house of ten years.
Well he's won and we have no where else legally to go. Even though
the Tribunal and District Courts ruled in our favour with extensive
findings, and these were not appealed, the Supreme Court and Court of
Appeal seemed to have chosen to ignore the facts and findings of
those jurisdictions and ruled against us.
Strangely when we go to use findings against the State, the court
ignores our submissions as well. Seems what's good for one party is
not good for the other.
BTW ALL the courts found that we were not tenants and we did not owe
any money. So go figure.
Some time today, the sheriff snuck up to our property and dropped a
letter into the letter box telling us we have till next Thursday to
leave the property or we'll be physically removed.
My wife, our four children (2,4,7,9) have no where to go but to live
in our cars.
We have applied for more than 800 rental homes in the last 12 months
from QLD, NSW and VIC with no success. We can only commit to $200 a
week rental - even that leaves us with extremely limited ability to
get by each week.
We can't afford a $450 a week 3 birth on site caravan, and we can't
afford to hire a $650 a week "tow yourself" caravan, even then it's
too small. We need the 5 birth (one can sleep on the floor) for $850
a week - that's all off season.
Noting that Holidays start on 1 October for two weeks, prices are
quite high on hotels and other places - not that we can afford it anyway.
Dept of Housing will only attempt to find us a hotel voucher once the
Sheriff has taken possession and we prove that this has happened. We
are already on the 5 year "Priority Housing Waiting List" or so we're
suppose to be.
I an trying to find anyone who might be able to help with some
temporary (3-6 months) storage or accomodation. A corner of a
warehouse, a garage, anything like that.
Maybe someone has an old caravan or knows someone with one.
I don't know what we'll do about showers and such as yet. It's not
like there are public showers around the city for people to drop in
and scrub off the daily grime.
Anyway, if anyone has suggestions, and I don't mean "contact real
estate agents" we've done that, then please contact me directly by
email or on 04 3380 4177.
I don't know how often from next Tuesday I'll be able to come online
as we'll be without electricity and any form communications, beyond
ye mobile phone.
Thanks in advance to anyone with some really lateral ideas.
