Germany's so-called "right-wing government" is a grand coalition - a coalition of the CDU (Christian Democrats) and
the SPD (Social Democrats) - the 2 largest parties. It's the chancellor
who comes from the CDU. The CDU itself is more left wing than a Labor government in Australia, the Democrats in the USA and probably the British Labour government...
