San Jose is hardly local. Its over 10 miles away. I live about a mile 
from the airfield. Frankly, its so damn loud I don't think one more 
flight matters. There are _frequent_ military over flights (high 
velocity fighters), lots of military transport flights (although these 
seem to come in batches), the occasional weekend with _constant_ WW2 
bomber over flights, and helicopters.

Oh, and did I mention the political traffic?

If you don't already have double glazing, you've probably gone mad a 
while a go.

PS: My kids were afraid of the fighters the most. Screaming kids at 8pm 
is no fun.
