"Supported" doesn't mean "works". "Supported" means "we have tested  
it, will test it, will have staff who can help you" etc.
Sure, it shouldn't make a difference, but they just don't have it on  
their checklist.

Sounds like it means they build and test for only one family of  
browser per OS.
