Scorched welds together online and TV


Is this the future of TV? A new Nine drama set in climate-ravaged 
Australia is straddling the divide between TV and the web, and its 
creators hope viewers will continue to build on the story well into the future.

At its most basic Scorched is a 90-minute telemovie scheduled to air 
on Nine on Sunday August 31. But both before and after its 
free-to-air debut, viewers can enter the Scorched universe online via 
<http://www.scorched.tv>Scorched.tv, YouTube and social networking sites.
