I guess so. I guess that my experience as an outside broadcast  
producer (amongst other things) for ABC Radio means that my threshold  
for something being "difficult is a little higher. ;)

This is the killer. With no incentive, why bother?

Still, I reckon that in the 21st Century getting "points" only for  
presenting work that's "written in words", as opposed to using high- 
memetic-bandwidth channels which might better convey meaning, is as  
obsolete as demanding that PhD theses be written in Latin.
