All of that, but most importantly, if you're communicating with 
someone who is tech savvy to some degree, it just looks dumb. It's 
close to the class of people who send something wrong, then follow up 
with a 'retraction' message. I laugh and file the message away! It 
brings to mind the person who sends a 'get stuffed' letter in the 
post box to break off a relationship, only to find out later they 
were mistaken and tries to figure out how to intercept the letter 
before it gets delivered. Lots of good comedy in that, but electronic 
mail isn't close to being in the same class.
