convicted as charged and the motive is determined to be financial profit. '
Under US law there ha to be a financial profit gained by the
'distributor' that could be so much as someone paying his hosting
fees or bandwidth for that month, but has to specifically state this.
I suspect the case will fall flat on it's face.
However, the issue isn't so much about the songs being on his web
site as to how they came to be in his hands!
G'n'R Lawyers will be looking for breach of contract with everyone
who was on the production chain and no doubt we'll never hear about this!!
