Don't you just love this massive media headlines and hype...

First we have the equivalent of 14 million movies and TV progs:

> Two Brisbane men who allegedly facilitated the illegal download of
> the equivalent of more than 14 million movies and television programs
> via a video sharing website overseas have been charged with piracy.

Then the guts of it, 14 million copies of vids and TV progs:

> It is alleged the men facilitated the transfer of more than 10,000
> terabytes of information, equivalent to 14.3 million copies of videos
> and television programs.

Then better yet it wasn't actually 14 million movies, videos and/or
television programs, but 10,000T of data...

Wonder how they were connected to the internet... how ever it is it's
got to have been some big a***d pipe... either that or as I'd suspect,
they just ran the BitTorrent tracker site which facilitates locating
BitTorrent servers of other users who are the actual ones sharing the
data. Meaning they facilitated a guessed 10,000T of data sharing,
rather than actually sharing the data themselves.

Note: I don't condone pirating of software or movies or any other
content (I have been a victim of Copyright theft myself), but it does
get annoying to see these attention grabbing stories that are designed
to be attention grabbing, rather than factual.

Regards,

Michelle.
