My youngest's teacher did the same thing.
It had all the thumbprints of a template into which she had been
pasting things.
It was an appropriate tool to display portions of his work, short
videos of what he is doing ('you can see in this video how his sense
of balance isn't as good as we expect for his age')
Overkill, but it obviously allowed her to structure her presentation
to us
And as an end of year summary, it wasn't about 'planning' for the boy,
it was about bringing us up to date.
So, embarrassing (she hadn't found the time to fill everything in, but
the intention was we would get a copy on CD at the end of the year),
but it worked.
