Yikes Stil!
Although I guess is _IS_ time to "call a spade another bloody shovel",
and in this case Mr Hamilton & Ms McMenamin have succeeded in using
thier spades to shovel an aweful lot of FUD into the discussion.
Personally, I am very careful to ensure that I continue to think of
these people as ill-directed idealists and not deliberately malicious
miscreants.

I have ranted previously about the falacy that is "if only one child
is saved it is all worth it".
We have limited resources, lets use them effectively - and
PROACTIVELY, not retroactively.
If this hurts your pre-conceptions, sensibilities and sense of moral
outrage at someone doing something "naughty", then I am very sorry for
you - and also for all the people that we were NOT able to help
because of your hysteria.
