I receive a regular stream of legal threats addressed to previous tenants
of my country retreat in Grenfell. It's the only address the lawyers have.

We have just rented a house in the Blue Mountains and the very first piece
of mail we received on day one was a threat from the gas company to cut
off the gas and report us to credit agencies if we didn't pay the bill.
What makes it weirder is that the new owner bought the place unoccupied
and according to Telstra the phone was cut off more than a year ago.
