I must say that I immediately thought of Simon Hackett, founder of
Internode, because he's actually doing the broadband thing in the
toughest competitive environment, succeeding at that, and has the
integrity to put Australia's interests ahead of his firm's interests
at a forum like this.
George McLaughlin also came to mind, not only because he knows
data communications, but because he understands their role in
science and industry building.
