Possibly connected with this (?) the Australian Curriculum Corporation are
requesting responses to an 'Internet Health and Safety Survey' this week ..
"The Curriculum Corporation is a partnership of all Australian Education
Ministers. It undertakes activities that are in the national interest and
that support and augment the work of States and Territories in providing
educational experiences for all students." <www.curriculum.edu.au>
Internet Health & Safety Survey <www.curriculumpress.edu.au/main/thisweek>
Parents and adults who work with children are encouraged to participate in
an anonymous 10 minute online survey about the issues and strategies for
dealing with cyber safety.
A global research Steering Committee of Australian and American
researchers and practitioners concerned with issues of cyber safety have
developed this Global Needs Assessment Survey. The survey is being
circulated by the Internet Keep Safe Coalition and by Harvard's Center on
Media and Child Health.
The results of this survey will provide international data to support
seeking involvement from corporate, government and non government
organisations to allow the Steering Committee to help develop timely and
relevant intervention programs and provide a framework from which to
establish best practices in response to these issues.
The survey can be completed at http://snipurl.com/1zu4b
