People keep using this correlation to argue the point of why Windows
has so many viruses but it is unproven that ubiquity is the reason for
so much malware.
"Correlation does not imply causation" is a phrase commonly used in
scientific circles.
The fact that Windows is the most installed *and* most attacked by
viruses does not necessarily mean that one caused the other.
There could be a relationship between the two facts but at this point
it is unproven. Other factors such as quality of code could also be a
cause.
