[LINK] paper ballot alternative

This is a snippet from an article about voting patterns/challenges in 
the US election. Someone finally woke up! Pity it takes half the 
machines to trigger the paper. That means a 50% potential delay in 
voting, some places with as long as 4 hour waits now. Remember, the 
2000 and 2004 elections were most likely 'stolen' by the Republicans. 
The article lists counter measures that voting fairness groups are 
taking this year.
