I think it may be wider than that. Here are my domain stats for Sept:
browser:                hits    percent
Firefox         2039    38.6 % mostly 3.01
MS IE           1457    27.6 % mostly 7 and 6

Also had 1 hit from Firebird, identified as old Firefox, and 10 
others, some I've never heard of, like Curl and Microsoft Data Access 
Component Internet Publishing Provider .

August had 33.2% MSIE, 32.6% FF
July had 35.4% MSIE, 27.6% FF
