I don't think so.  October 2005 was extremely hot and then the period 
from October 2005 - February 2006 was extreme.

In October 2006, we got very good rainfall and a mild summer, with the 
heat coming in March.

In 2007, we had a similar event and March/April were much hotter by 
comparison.

This October/November we are having very wet, mild weather, 
so I predict a mild summer and a late heatwave in March/April again.
