Email is still way out in front at 98% as opposed to the next highest use
banking at 72%.
To put this into context we need some figures on Telephones, Mobiles/TXT, TV and
Radio.
Last night was the opening of the New Theatre's season of new writers. One of
the plays was about a family in the Kempsey/Tamworth area and Facebook seems to
have replaced email (and private websites), which replaced word of mouth (either
face
to face or phone), for the announcements of births! But a TV Soapy and a major
Telco's ads also got a plug. There was also lots of exploration of basic human
relationships.
