This reminds me of the spoof 1850s shipping news headline that I read  
a day or so ago (not unrelated to 1 April stuff):

'Will coal ever replace wind power?'

(the subtitle ran something along the lines of 'Ships will need to  
grow larger to allow for more room for goods, since the fuel required  
to run the engines takes up 75% of the carrying capacity')

But the headline was arresting enough for me.
