A friend writes,


'I am currently in a very small town, in country Victoria, during our
Easter break. 

Sourcing the free wireless, from the closed public library, is a curious 
gaggle of about a dozen backpackers and tourists, some laying on the 
grassy lawn, some leaning against the building, a middle aged couple in 
their campervan, and me. 

Apart from one Mac user, all with small netbooks. I suspect that all are
using a web browser. I spy one using Google Docs, another updating a blog 
with photographs from his phone. 

Miss 6 is stalking and outdoing them all with her Nintendo DS, exploring 
a wireless function even I wasnt aware of.

Users trying to cram tools like photoshop into Netbooks miss the point.

Those watching ARM developments are wise..'
