[LINK] interesting gadgets

I saw two interesting gadgets in the last two days:

1) was a hard disk enclosure with a difference, tech sheet here:

It's an enclosure sold with a 250GB to 1TB HD.  It has USB 2.0,  
ethernet and wifi 802.11G  It has a whole bunch of AV outputs and it  
plays audio and movie formats directly.  It has an AV input so it can  
act as a PVR.  It can stream video from the network or act as a NAS.

It was 179 Euros with 500GB which puts it in the range of home DVD  
players and on a par with ordinary HD enclosures.


2) A memory card reader that outputs video.  It wasn't this one but it  
was similar:

Reads most flash memory formats including USB sticks.  Outputs to AV  
to TV or stereo. Site says US$19.5
