Ah, if only it were so
'offer' has such a different meaning than the word that would be more  
accurate: 'force'

FTR - I thought the Liberals were the ones promising an internet  
filter, and I was voting against it.
Not sure how I got mixed up on that one, darn it.

If they were going to require ISPs to 'offer' a clean feed, I'd be all  
for it, but I wouldn't opt for it myself.
Forcing me to take a slowdown for material that i will never ever view  
anyway is just annoying and detrimental to my productivity.
Sorry - nothing new here, just incensed by the word 'offer' :)
