Yes, discussions of the architecture for the National Broadband
Network (NBN):

My assumption was that the NBN will be just one big IP network (using 
IPv6), carrying data, voice and video. But some of the carriers seem to 
want to emulate a network with point to point connections (so if you had 
a smart meter, an IP phone, a PVR and Internet for your computer you 
would need four connections). I assume that otherwise their customers 
will find it too easy to change suppliers:
