Oh, I'm sure you can get the books via internet, but not for 'free' 
like in the US and not all the extra values that comes with the 
Kindle. Or can you? Isn't the amazon distribution via a specific wifi 
network in the US?

A friend of mine bought a Sony ebook reader a couple years ago to 
read my manuscript. It was quite forgiving in terms of what went on it.
