To reinforce this idea. I've been on the board of the Privacy 
Foundation for more years than I can count, something like 6 now, and 
all of our meetings have been by using IRC. Works fine for a group of 
about 8 or 10 when all members turn up. And when Roger is chairing, 
we get through the agenda quick smart -- like 1 hour. And you can sit 
and watch telly at the same time! ;-)
