This is exactly why I am mooting "consumer issued carbon credits."
The fact that they are consumer issued damages no-one except the
speculators......
E.g.: Approx $98.00 per month from mowing the lawn with a push
mower...... (for those calculating madly, there are other emissions
apart from CO2)

By my calculations, the five (consumer) CDM's I am drafting add up to a
family financial bundle of around $180.00 per month.
Enough (in many cases) to offset the household carbon useage and put
some in the bank besides.

If applied to every (suburban house with a lawn required), the bottom
line is in the order of:
Spring	684,000,000
Summer	345,000,000
Autumn	684,000,000
Winter	129,000,000
Total 1,842,000,000 - P.A. AU$

That should put an unknown factor in the spokes of the speculators.

Cliché from "The Bill - TV Series" The Pros don’t worry us - its those
damn amateurs, they are so unpredictable."

(Yes - some of my consumer carbon credits are seasonal - unfortunately.
Not all that dissimilar to wind farms or solar panels really.)

Regards,

Tom
