ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 25 FEBRUARY 2009: Geodynamics ABN 55 095 006 090

Cooper Basin Project Update

 Closed Loop Flow Test Update

Geodynamics is pleased to announce that the closed loop test
has now been completed. Circulation of 50,000 tonnes of brine
under test conditions marked the conclusion of the closed loop test.

The test results are currently being analysed at research
laboratories across the globe and the results of this analysis will
be subject to external review and validation by Geothermex Inc of the
USA.

This analysis and review process is expected to be completed by the
end of March 2009. A successful validation will mark the completion
of Stage One of the Company's business plan i.e. 'Proof of Concept'.

1 MW Pilot Plant Update

The construction and installation of the above ground plant is
continuing, with commissioning of the above ground plant due to commence
in March.

The development approval for the power line to Innamincka has been
received, with mobilisation for the construction of the power line
currently underway.

Ongoing delays in the manufacture and delivery of the heat
exchangers from suppliers has meant the overall commissioning
program has been delayed.

The Company is aiming to complete the commissioning program for
the power plant by the end of April.

Savina 1 Drilling Progress

Geodynamics reports that the program of actions to recover the
remainder of the stuck drill pipe was unsuccessful. Following
detailed review and analysis by the Geodynamics Technical Committee,
the decision was taken to abandon further drill pipe recovery actions.

The Company has completed a program of action to secure the well
at 2,640m (100m above the top of the stuck drill pipe) by setting
a cement plug at this point.

The Company and its joint venture partner Origin Energy are considering
the forward work program and in particular whether to drill an immediate
sidetrack at Savina 1 or to relocate the drilling rig for other
activities.

The major factors influencing the decision are as follows:

 Impending floodwaters forecast to arrive within the next 8 weeks.

 Optimal deployment of the Company‟s drilling resources.

 Confirmation of the extent and nature of the granite body and fracture
system after the intersection of a highly pressured saturated fracture
   at Savina.

 Desire to gain additional information at the Jolokia 1 well
   which was previously suspended.

Once a decision has been made in this regard it will be communicated to
the market.
