Anyone whose "analysis" uses the words "gaining traction" deserves to  
be kicked. If they use it in the first paragraph, like here, they  
deserve to be kicked and spat upon. Just sayin'.

P.S. Why must the rise of the popularity of one thing always be  
presented as the demise of another, when in fact both continue to  
increase in popularity?
