I went back to the link that started this discussion, what, 2 days
ago?, and did another traceroute just now. It still ends up at
Telstra Brisbane. Does that mean that domain is still blocked? After
2 days? Oh, wait, it's Telstra. Small beer compared to the guy
outside Melbourne who moved down the road and can't get a landline,
so they gave him a malfunctioning satphone alternative. He figures
he's lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in business. It was
comical on Today Tonight, watching the reporter ring the number and
get some sort of Vietnamese 'can't connect' message. This has been
going on since March and the install date keeps getting moved back.
Now they are telling him September. The guy is at risk of losing a 30
year business, all because of Telstra's inability to provide service.

So, the 2 day delay in a domain server link is a grain of sand in the
Telstra sphere. Of course, that is assuming the Telstra point in
Brisbane is the culprit.
