Linkers,
The Melbourne PC User Group, one of if not the largest personal
computer club in Australia, has joined with AUSOM, the Apple
equivalent, to form a peak body called Australian Digital. The idea
is to lobby government on issues of concern to end users of digital
technology. They are taking a first effort against the filtering
proposal. I read about this in the new edition of our magazine in the
President's message. His name is Keith Younger. His email address is:
president at melbpc.org.au
Linkers may have groups that would also like to join forces on this.
They say they are open to members from other NGOs that use digital
technology. This includes but not limited to radio, PDAs, Smart
phones, GPS systems and Cameras.
Thanks,
Jan

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
