According to the SMH website (and several other Fairfax websites) an
Emirates A340 made an emergency landing in Perth yesterday the crew declared
an emergency, possibly due to smoke on-board.

Problem is that it simply didn't happen.  All Emirates flights this week
have arrived in Dubai without incident.

The URL itself gives a hit to what's occurred - Fairfax have republished an
article which was first printed October 16th, 2008.  In that case an
Emirates flight did return to Perth after a burning smell was smelt on
board.

A similar issue late last year wiped over a billion dollars off United
Airlines share price after a 6 year old article about their chapter 11
filing hit Google's top news stories.
