[LINK] OFF TOPIC: School uniforms

I think there is a fundamental conflict between the obligation of the
state schools to provide education and their desire to enforce
uniforms. I understand the obligation ultimately trumps the desire,
but it could be an uncomfortable argument, especially if you met an
intransigent offical at a selective or otherwise 'exclusionary'
school.
There are a bunch of teachers on LINK that will have real time
experience, and will no doubt chime in, but are no doubt off preparing
lessons ;-)
