Follow your thinking, Ash. However, don't forget that BetterPlace also
intend to enable (so they say) many 'home' etc car recharging resources
for overnight and whilst-parked recharging. The 'energy stations' they
write about and budget a half a mill each for (for yr last minute can't
get home car recharging) would price themselves out of even this market
if they charged significantly more. Sort of a natural price-cap i guess.

Regards Richard's thoughts that, unlike BetterPlace claim, powering all
of Australia's 15 million passenger cars will add more than the claimed
seven percent increase for national power grid loadings, one might tend
to agree. It seems low. I'll chase up their reference to it if you like
Richard but it IS inside the urls given in the original posts somewhere.

I must say, whatever it is, i do like their plans and doubt it's simply
smokiness. They're going full-tilt at it with the right people on board
and i guess practically every Australian behind them. So go BetterPlace!

Cheers,
Stephen
