[LINK] ABC Mobile site stll has problems

Mark Scott, Managing Director, ABC, talked at the Innovative Ideas 
Forum 2009 today 
<http://www.nla.gov.au/initiatives/meetings/innovative-ideas-forum/2009/web.html>, 
about how the ABC is providing new media services using mobile phones 
and the Internet. He used as an example the Victorian bushfires and 
also said how  "The ABC is the emergency broadcaster". This was a 
thoughtful and entertaining presentation. At question time I asked if 
the ABC was investing enough resources for digital media, using as an 
example the ABC Mobile service. I explained that a few minutes ago I 
had run an accessibility test on the mobile home page which it did 
not appear to pass. Also the page failed a validation test with 
dozens of errors. Mr. Scott said he thought the accessibility 
problems had been fixed and he would go back to the office and check.
