You're prolly right. Nothing new about it. We are already living in
an 85% SPAM email universe, and rising.
What I was anticipating is that the advent of a ginormous address
space brought on by the adoption of IPv6 will bring with a new slough
of internet connected devices. You know the ones. Light bulbs that
email you when they are getting near end of life. BBQs that contact
the propane supplier. Fridges that play chess cuz they're bored.
