Hi all,

I'm relatively new to the list, and I thought some of you might be
interested in an event I'm helping Senator Kate Lundy run about the
opportunities and issues around access to high speed bandwidth in Australia.

If you want to participate you can do it in person, or over Twitter on the
day (as all questions and feedback will be happening via Twitter). Also, if
any of you have a short 10 minute talk you want to give, you can either
present on the day, or pre-record and send it to me to be played on the day.

Anyway, we hope to do this sort of event on topical issues regularly, and
the outcomes will be put together into a briefing paper that we will both
publish and put to appropriate channels in the government. Our idea is to
hopefully make participating in government directions and policy more easily
accessible.

Hope to see some of you there (online or in person).

Cheers,
Pia
