Why wasn't hot rock geothermal there? Wasn't some research done
just recently that said good portions of Australia have enough potential
to drive enough stations for our peak load?

CCS I think is pure fantasy unless "they" can figure a cheap way to lock up
the carbon from toxic gas to inert solids etc. And I read an article
the other week (it was on slashdot but I cannot find it) regarding
some spin about the positive effects of carbon monoxide ;)
