Actually, I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet. It is a distinct 
possibility in the ebook world for readers to drop their prices like 
a stone and the profit made up in the charges for ebooks (and other 
media someday perhaps?). When I worked in the AV industry, companies 
would give away overhead projectors and charge like demons for the 
transparency film. Consumables, baby, like ink cartridges for printers.
