A "Blended Delivery Expo" will be held at the Ian Ross Seminar Room,
College of Engineering and Computer Science, the Australian National
University, Canberra, 2:00pm, 16 August 2010:

The ANU is training up its engineering and IT staff (including me) on
how to teach engineering using a combination of face to face classes and
online tools. This is being funded by the Australian Government under a
program announced by the Minister for Education, Julia Gillard, 11

ABSTRACT:
You have heard of the Hubs and Spokes project*, and blended
delivery of courses, but what does it really mean? In this talk we'll
take a look through the design of blended delivery courses run so far
under the Hubs and Spokes project, and also at the courses under
development for delivery in 2011.
BIO:
Kim Blackmore is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering,
Coordinator of the CECS Flexible Learning Unit, and leader of the Hubs
and Spokes subproject in blended delivery.
