Hi Marghanita,

I agree that Tiger Woods' fame is based largely on his achievements in
golf.

Still, I wonder how the number of pages reported by Google rose due to
the revelations about his personal life.  There's a huge general
interest in scandal, sex etc. regarding any already famous person - a
genuine drive by large numbers of people to know about it and discuss
it, and the press, the blogosphere etc. all ready to whip it up.
