Update:
I tried this add-on and it crashed Firefox badly. Wouldn't restart. 
Seems to interact with another add-on, Tabmix, or perhaps it's just a 
problematic add-on, at least in my set-up. Once I disabled it, FF 
loaded fine again. It's a chrome element.
