In a blow to Julian Assanges upcoming US Legal challenges, Magazine
named Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Person of the Year and the move
appears to be slightly unpopular.

According to Wikipedia:

Quote/
Controversy has occasionally arisen because of the designation of
alleged dictators and warmongers as "Persons of the Year". The
distinction is supposed to go to the person who, for good or ill, has
most affected the course of the year; it is therefore not necessarily an
honour or a reward. In the past, such figures as Adolf Hitler and Joseph
Stalin have been Man of the Year.

The Time Man of the Year appears to be degenerating in to a political
poll / advertising scam (imho).
Let me see, who owns Time Magazine? And what happened to their cojones?

Because according to all the stats I have been monitoring, Wikileaks
hands down in the last two quarters of 2010 has apparently affected the
people [and their Governors] more than Facebook.

Then again, Facebook will be around for a lot longer than Wikileaks.
