Drive carefully and don't over-overindulge.

Thanks Fred,

Here's backatcha:

Telling it like it is, is a favourite past-time of Linkers.

It's hard in these recessive times to think of reasons to be joyous, but
here goes;

This holiday season, it might be worthwhile cogitating that whilst we
believe we have it hard with Political issues, the NBN, the price of a
litre of gasoline, whether or not our Facebook preferences are set
correctly to ensure our privacy...

Let us contrast that with five out of every six people in the world that
don't have the option of living in one of the wealthy 'Industrialized
World' nations like Canada, Oceania, USA, Western Europe, and the
wealthier parts of Asia like Japan, South Korea and Singapore.

Those people sure don't have the problems we do, but then, due to their
own unique brand of tribulations, they probably won't have quite such a
terrific Christmas either.

For the majority of Linkers, an accident of birth geo-location has
ensured that we are fed daily, adequately clothed and comfortably
housed.

Whichever denomination is appropriate, a small recognition of these
presents in the collection plate is probably in order.
Atheists should donate to their favourite political party... (but under
$500 as we don't want to be included in the Facebook Politicians for
Hire Fan club group..) ;0)

Unemployed agnostic apolitical geeks should play two games of Age of
Empires, one Call of Duty and fire up that old floppy copy of Duke Nukem
and finish the game by not blowing up or shooting anything or anyone...
(good luck with that.)

I wish all the Central Europeans in Link a very merry Christmas Eve and
all the non-Europeans, a Merry Christmas for Tomorrow.

Tom
