Just a reality check. "could" is far too unrealistic. It is being 
done with millions of students every year across the US. The college 
I worked in in Arizona has thousands, just in Arizona. If it hasn't 
caught on in Australia to that degree yet, I'm not sure why. I doubt 
it has anything to do with what sort of network there is in place.

In 2007, the five postsecondary institutions with the highest 
enrollment were University of Phoenix Online Campus, with 224,880 students;
That wasn't where I worked.

In 2001, nearly 10 years ago, there were over 3mil. in distance 
education (across all media), with the highest proportion in Internet 
and 2-way video conferencing.
