These were never anything more than a very niche product.
One of the local electronics shops here has had one on display for at
least a year, and every time I walk past it's hard not to stop and
look at how amazing the picture is for something that is so thin (the
entire screen is around 3mm thick!)
The catch? US$2500 for a 11" TV. Even if you could afford it, it's
uses would be limited due to the small screen size.
I noticed about a week ago they had dropped the price to $1999 - not
sure if that's a new price point, or them just trying to get rid of
stock...
