Love this last comment:

Why doesn't anyone point out that the Internet and especially the 
blogs are a threat to the political power of the big news 
organizations. If say the London Times (and the other Murdoch 
newspapers) is put behind a paywall then I'm not going to subscribe 
to other newspapers and so Murdoch gets to play around with my brain. 
He gets to determine the outcome of the UK elections just like the 
newspaper barons used to.
